If you like the idea of becoming your own boss, having a more flexible work schedule, or owning your own business, here’s a step-by-step process of how we can help you reach your goal.

1.Contact Us

Give us a call toll-free (888-666-9040). If nothing else, you can get some free advice about starting your own business from a professional consultant.

2.Consultation

This is the step where our consultants get to know you and your business goals. This phone call will take approximately 15 minutes.

3.Research

After learning of your business, personal, and financial goals, our consultants will select franchises that meet all of your criteria.

4.Recommendations

Our consultants will call you back two to three business days after the initial consultation to present you with 1-3 businesses that meet all your criteria.

5.Introduction to the Franchisor

The next step is speaking with the franchisors themselves. We will have representatives from the franchises in which you showed the most interest contact you. Speaking to the franchisors allows you to get you questions answered in the quickest and most accurate way possible. Also, it allows the franchisors to evaluate you to see if you are a good candidate for their franchise. It is important to note this is not a high-pressured sales situation. It is more of a meet and greet conversation to make sure both parties are comfortable with the other.

6.Validation

After you and the franchisor have spoken, a mutual validation process takes place. You validate the franchisor by conducting your own research, talking with current franchisees, going over the Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD), and in most cases visiting the franchisor’s headquarters for a Discovery Day where you get to meet all the people who will be supporting you as a franchisee.

In addition, the franchisor also validates you to ensure you are qualified to be awarded a franchise. When a franchisee fails, that damages that franchise’s reputation, so the franchisors are selective about whom they bring into their franchise. Therefore, franchisors don’t sell franchises; they award them.

If at any point during this process you decide that particular franchise is not a good fit, we can loop back up to the recommendations, pick another franchise that piques your interest, and restart the validation process with the new franchise.

7.Decision

After the validation process is complete and if the franchisor approves you to be a franchisee, then you must decide whether or not you want to invest in that franchise. Consultants at Monarch Franchising can help you find the financing required to get your business up and running with the lowest up-front cost to you.
